In Minecraft, customizing banners is super easy and fun.
Creating Banners in Minecraft
To make a banner, you need just two main things. However, the color of your banner depends on a specific ingredient. You’ll need several of these items, so crafting many banners at once might not be possible. Here’s how to do it:
- First, at a crafting table, put six colored wool blocks in the top two rows.
- Next, place one stick in the bottom center box, and voilà, you have a banner that matches the wool color you used.
Gathering enough wool can be tricky. But don’t worry! You can get regular wool from sheep and then dye it. We explained how to make dye in another guide. Basically, you need certain materials that match your desired dye color. Once you have the dye, use it on wool blocks at a crafting table to create your colored banner.
Fans often enjoy making their banners look unique and cool.
If you want to change your banner back to plain white or remove patterns, use bleach at a crafting table. Note that this feature is only in Bedrock Edition.
