Disney Speedstorm is adding Maleficent as a racer in Season 9, Part 2.
This kart racing game already features many characters from Disney, Pixar, and even live-action movies. Maleficent felt left out until now. Gameloft revealed she would join through a Limited-Time Event, and there’s already a trailer showing her in action.
Maleficent brings some cool tricks to the game. As a Trickster racer, she can mess with others while getting a speed boost. Her special move, Mistress of Evil, has two parts. First, she can call down lightning to zap the track ahead, gaining flames if she hits anyone. Collecting six flames turns her and her kart into a dragon, flying super fast and knocking out other racers.
Fans love how unpredictable these events can be. Usually, these Limited-Time Events last about a week, where you unlock new racers by finishing goals with your current characters. Maleficent is the latest addition, following Cruella from the last event.
Season 9, Part 2 of Disney Speedstorm is here, with a theme based on Pirates of the Caribbean. The season is split into two parts, and it features characters like Jack Sparrow and Elizabeth Swann. Now, there’s also a new Pirates track and four new characters: Davy Jones, Will Turner, Hector Barbossa, and Tia Dalma.
