Marvel Rivals Launches with Free Iron Man Skin for Early Players

-

Marvel Rivals has burst onto the scene, introducing 33 Marvel characters for fans to enjoy right from the start.

When players jump into the action of this free-to-play adventure, they can snag a special Iron Man skin without spending a dime. This particular Iron Man armor, known as Armor Model 42, first appeared in comics back in 2012 and made its movie debut in Iron Man 3. To claim this shiny new look in Marvel Rivals, just head to the settings, tap the bundle code button, and punch in the code nwarh4k3xqy before March 3, 2025, and you’re set.

If you peek at Steam charts, you’ll see Marvel Rivals climbing swiftly, currently holding the second spot just behind Counter-Strike 2. As we dive into the first month, labeled Season 0, players can explore 8 different maps across Quick Match, Competitive modes, a Conquest map, and even a fresh Practice Range.

Oh, and here’s something fun: NetEase wants players to catch their favorite Twitch streamers playing Marvel Rivals. Why? Because during Season 0, there are Twitch Drops that let you earn cool in-game goodies just for watching.

Here are the Twitch Drops rewards for this season:

December 6-31
– Watch 30 minutes: Magneto [Will of Galacta] Spray
– Watch 1 hour: Magneto [Will of Galacta] Nameplate
– Watch 2 hours: Magneto [Cosmic Collapse] Emotes
– Watch 4 hours: Magneto [Will of Galacta] Costume

December 20-29
– Watch 1 hour: [Winter Stockings] Spray

We think it’s exciting when games offer free stuff just for watching streams!

Earlier in the month, NetEase spilled the beans on how they’re handling in-game purchases in Marvel Rivals. Only cosmetics are up for grabs, which you can buy with either free currency or the game’s special currency, Latice. So, if you’re looking to jazz up your hero with new costumes, MVP animations, emotes, and more, this is your chance. For all the details, check out GameSpot’s guide on everything Marvel Rivals.
