Marvel Rivals recently received its first update, aiming to fix numerous audio and environment glitches players have encountered.
In this game, famous Marvel characters battle each other, targeting Dr. Doom and his future self, Doom 2099. The latest patch primarily addresses surface-level bugs, but a few heroes, like Dr. Strange, are affected too. Check out the full patch details below.
The main issue addressed involved players getting stuck near map edges. Although fixes have been applied, this bug might still crop up on other maps.
“However, further adjustments may still be needed to fully resolve the issue,” the recent blog post read. “So we ask for your understanding while we continue looking into it and working on a way to prevent this from happening again.”
NetEase managed to squash some minor bugs, including lag during highlight replays and text errors, with more corrections coming soon. They also fixed frequent crashes during Highlights saving. Now, instead of freezing, the game will exit after a crash.
Other minor fixes cover hero costume display issues when joining Quick Matches and accurate mission progress on the Season Event screen.
For PC users, using FSR 3 to tweak resolution led to memory leaks and blurry visuals, but that’s fixed. On PlayStation, the Scarlet Spider costume sometimes failed to show correctly after restarting the game; that glitch is now gone.

- Special collisions at the edges of some maps, like Hydra Charteris Base and Klyntar, caused players to get stuck. While mostly resolved, it might still happen on other maps.

- Joyful Splash effects went unseen by Jeff the Land Shark’s allies and foes after revival in fog; this has been corrected.

Heroes:
