In Metaphor: ReFantazio, creating friendships with your Followers is key to unlocking special powers and new Archetypes, especially with Neuras, your engineer, who needs more effort to connect with.
Each section is named after where the relics can be found and is listed in the order they become accessible to you.
As these quests unlock with the main story, there are mild spoilers, but nothing major is revealed.
Komoro
To start bonding with Neuras, finish “Providing a Spark” by collecting a relic and a notebook from Komoro. This becomes available once you have a main quest deadline in Martira. Go to Komoro, use the talk option, grab the items, and hand them to Neuras to make him your Follower.
Man-Eater’s Grotto
During your adventures in Martira, you’ll find Man-Eater’s Grotto. The bounty “The Man-Eater in the Mine” appears after you get your second main deadline. The relic is in an early dungeon section where you drop into a square room.
From there, move to the red-highlighted area, go up a floor, and find the crawl space to reach the relic chest.
Tomb of Lament
In Port Brilehaven, accept the “Grieving Ghost of the Goblet” bounty to enter the Tomb of Lament. The relic is in an early dungeon section.
As you enter, head to the lower floor to find a relic behind cell bars. Use the small passageway to reach it.
Scoundrel’s Hold
The “Greater One-Eyed Scoundrel” bounty, available after your main deadline on Virga Island, will lead you to Scoundrel’s Hold. The path splits; go right and find a hidden passageway to the relic.
Land of Ceremony
“The Trial of Malnova” quest allows access to the Land of Ceremony once you have a second main deadline on Virga Island. Eupha, who resides there, sends you on this mission.
To find the relic, go to the bottom floor’s leftmost side using a ramp from above. The ramps overlap from floor to floor.
Everfrost Forest
Once you get your main deadline in Altabury Heights, “The Fiend in the Frozen Forest” bounty lets you explore Everfrost Forest, a sprawling area with a simple relic path.
In the map’s middle section, right side, you’ll find the relic in a chest.
Mt. Vulkano
Visit Mt. Vulkano by accepting “The Edge of Glory” quest from a man in Sunshade Row after a new main deadline in Grand Trad. Expect a lot of climbing and dropping.
The relic is on the main floor, beyond two holes. Carefully walk around them to get to the chest.
Finally, after collecting all relics, one more battle awaits to max Neuras’ Follower rank. It’s marked on your map and not too challenging unless your party’s under-leveled. At level 60, you should be fine.
