Get ready for some epic Monsterverse action in video games this year!
Three new Monsterverse games are launching in late 2024, riding the wave of success from Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire. One of these games is Kong: Survivor Instinct, a 2.5D action-adventure where players step into the shoes of a father searching for his daughter amidst the chaos left by Kong and Godzilla’s clash. Unlike the other two, this game will be available as a standalone on PC and consoles.
Paweł Biela from 7Levels said it’s been a “formative experience” working with the Monsterverse IP, and that the game will let them “show some of the fan-favorite Titans from a unique perspective.”
The other two games are quite different. One is within Roblox, where players become Monarch operatives and interact with Titans. The other is called Godzilla x Kong: Titan Chasers, a 4X mobile strategy game by Hunted Cow Games and Tilting Point LLC. Here, players build bases, recruit Titan Chasers, and battle on the Siren Isles in turn-based combat.
Fans always love new ways to enjoy their favorite franchises.
Tomas Gonzales from Tilting Point mentioned that while Siren Isles is just a small part of the movie’s world, the story and conflicts in the game will be significant.
No specific release dates for these games yet, but they are all set to come out in 2024.
The next Monsterverse movie is coming on March 26, 2027, directed by Grant Sputore.
