Moonlighter 2: Endless Vault Combines Shopkeeping & RPG Action in 2025

-

Back in 2018, Moonlighter quietly entered the gaming world, and before long, it turned into an indie sensation.

Now, during the PC Gaming Show, Digital Sun and 11 Bit Studios have revealed Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault, bringing back Will and his crew for more shopkeeping fun. This time, players guide Will through a mysterious place called Tresna, exploring the Endless Vault to find treasures and rare artifacts. Once the monsters are defeated and the loot is collected, it’s all about selling those goods to the townsfolk for the best price possible.

In these dungeons, players can use swords, gauntlets, and sometimes even brooms to fight enemies. After selling the treasures, Will can use the earnings to improve his gear, helping him explore deeper parts of the vault next time.

Fans are super excited to see where this new adventure will take them.

Digital Sun is behind the magic of Moonlighter, and they’ve also worked on Cataclismo, a tower-defense game, and Mageseeker, in partnership with Riot Games. GameSpot gave the first game a 7 out of 10, saying it was “refreshing” and praised its balance between dungeon crawling and town economics.

In 2025, Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault will be available on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
