NASCAR Games Set for Delisting Soon

-

NASCAR gaming is gearing up for a fresh start in 2025, but there’s a twist for those who enjoy the older games.

Motorsport Games revealed that by the end of this year, all their NASCAR games and extra content will vanish from online shops, although they’ll still work if you already own them. This includes popular titles such as NASCAR Heat and NASCAR Rivals. Good news, though—before they’re gone, these games are set to hit the sale racks! But don’t worry if you have a physical disc; you can still enjoy the races even after they disappear from the digital shelves.

Looking back, NASCAR video games have been around since 1991 when Bill Elliott’s NASCAR Challenge revved up its engines. Over the years, many companies have taken turns creating these racing adventures. The baton has now passed to iRacing, who has exciting plans to launch NASCAR ’25 for consoles and PCs next fall.

Fans always feel a bit nostalgic about their favorite games leaving the stores, don’t we?

Even actual NASCAR drivers have a fondness for these games, with Ross Chastain famously saying that NASCAR 2005 inspired his daring wallride move in 2022. However, NASCAR decided to ban that maneuver, citing safety concerns.
