NBA 2K25 brings back The City and introduces MyCourt for solo or friendly practice.
The City is revamped, with a more compact map, eliminating empty spaces. Every building has a purpose now. The Boulevard of the Stars, a fancy central street, offers quick access to modes like Pro-AM, The Rec, and Ante-Up.
There’s also a Walk of Fame showing every NBA championship team with spots left for players to make their mark in MyCareer. MyCourt, which combines a basketball court and an apartment, is back for skill practice and games like 1v1, 3v3, and HORSE. Players can decorate their MyCourt walls with murals from quests and seasonal rewards.
Proving Grounds is a new arena inspired by coliseums for ranked play. It offers various game types like 1v1 to 5v5 with difficulty options. Top players each season get exclusive rewards while others gain Rep in The City.
Fans love how Elite and Rise affiliations have unique perks. Elite players set up in a pirate-themed fort with a pirate ship, while Rise players get a futuristic robot factory. Courts are now closer for easy hopping between games.
MyPARKS from NBA 2K15 makes a comeback with Sunset Beach, Rivet City, Old Town, and its aircraft carrier version remastered with better graphics and lighting.
Streetball returns with crazy rewards, three new locations, and co-op play. Players can join friends for 3v3 games against new bosses and complete Streetball Quests together .
For beginners, NBA 2K25 has HoloHelp Info kiosks outside each building in The City to explain modes and skill levels. Casual Courts in Elite and Rise Parks help newcomers learn the game alongside other newbies.
NBA 2K25 launches globally on September 6. But if you buy it before then, you can start playing on September 4 at 5 AM PT / 8 AM ET. Preorder folks will automatically get early access.
