Neil Druckmann Developing New Game Since 2020

-

Neil Druckmann, from Naughty Dog, has been busy crafting a new game since 2020.

A Reddit post mentioned that Druckmann shared this tidbit during a chat with Ken Levine in a gaming discussion, but the video of the event is now private. Reddit users and Kotaku claim he’s been at it for a few years now.

After wrapping up The Last of Us: Part II in 2020, it’s logical for Druckmann to dive into something fresh. While speculation swirls around the nature of this new project, hints have surfaced.

Post-cancellation of The Last of Us Online, Naughty Dog announced they’re brewing two single-player adventures. One might be The Last of Us: Part III, but the other remains a puzzle. Back in May, Druckmann expressed how thrilled he is about the new game, saying, “I can’t talk about it or our bosses will get very mad at me.” We really hope he gets to spill the beans soon!

Meanwhile, The Last of Us series on HBO is gearing up for its second season, set to drop in Spring 2025, with Druckmann playing a key role in its creation, alongside his video game duties.

Even though some fans are crossing fingers for more Uncharted, Naughty Dog has declared their journey with it complete. However, who knows? Maybe another team will pick up the torch someday.
