No Man’s Sky Adds Cross-Save Feature in Latest Update

-

Today marks the beginning of Hello Games introducing cross-save features for some No Man’s Sky players. Though not everyone can use it right away, all players have the option to link their various accounts through the No Man’s Sky cross-save website. The developers promise that soon, everyone will have this capability.

To get started, players must log into their gaming accounts like PSN, Xbox Live, Steam, or GOG, and soon Nintendo Switch Online, using provided links. Follow the steps to connect other devices’ accounts. Afterward, launch No Man’s Sky on any linked platform. The latest save file will be uploaded automatically to the server, ready for download on any connected system.

Connecting just one account lets players transfer saves, such as from a PS4 to a PS5, if they’re logged into the same PSN account. However, only five cross-saves are allowed.

Interestingly, the update includes Mass Effect’s famous Normandy ship, aligning with N7 Day, a celebration of the Mass Effect series. A new time-limited expedition kicks off, letting players add the cruiser to their fleet if completed in time. This event lasts two weeks, so don’t delay if you missed it before.

Fans often wonder how these features will affect their gaming experience.
