Exciting news for fans of The Outlast Trials!
The game is getting a big update for free on December 10, introducing a new character named Amelia, along with fresh maps, missions, and more. Amelia, a daring vigilante with a unique past, is on a quest for revenge, and her arrival is shrouded in mystery.
Amelia’s story is intriguing. Once a prisoner in the same trials players face, she managed to escape and is now back to confront the Murkoff Corporation. There are whispers of a new Prime Asset, but details remain scarce. Players will have the chance to meet Amelia in unexpected ways in the game. We can’t wait to see what she brings to the table.
The update introduces a new map named Downtown, featuring a main mission called Pleasure The Prosecutor. This mission, which can take about 45 minutes to complete on normal difficulty, supports a team of four players. Two additional side missions are also set in the Downtown area. Plus, there’s a new ability called The Jammer, although the creators at Red Barrels haven’t revealed its specifics yet.

Alongside Project Breach, there’s a special event called Winter Kills starting on December 10. This event offers holiday challenges and cool new outfits for characters and their Sleep Rooms. Imagine running through creepy hallways in your festive pajamas—it’s both fun and scary!
