Overwatch 2 My Hero Academia Crossover Announced

-

Overwatch 2 is teaming up with My Hero Academia for a new anime crossover event.

My Hero Academia, which is about high school students with superpowers called Quirks fighting for their future, is a perfect match for the superhero vibe of Overwatch. Even though the manga wrapped up this year with chapter 430, the anime is still going strong.

From October 17-30, players can buy five special skins inspired by My Hero Academia characters. They include:

  • Tracer as Deku, the main hero
  • Juno as Uravity, who can control gravity
  • Reinhardt as All Might, the iconic hero
  • Kiriko as Himiko Toga, a villain obsessed with Deku
  • Reaper as Tomura Shigaraki, the leader of the bad guys

Even though the skins cost real money, there will be free sprays and a weapon charm to collect.

Blizzard’s FPS has had other anime crossovers before, like Cowboy Bebop and One-Punch Man.

Fans love these crossovers; they keep the game exciting.

Right now, Overwatch 2 players can also enjoy World of Warcraft’s 30th anniversary with special skins and options. Plus, Blizzard has some cool perks for Game Pass subscribers who join before November 11. These perks include six hero skins, a 10% Battle Pass XP boost, and 30 Mythic Prisms for upgrading Mythic skins.
