Overwatch 2 has launched its 12th season, bringing the new support hero Juno into the mix.
This season doesn’t just stop at a new hero; it also introduces a ton of fresh cosmetics for players. One highlight is the battle pass, which is brimming with Egyptian mythology-inspired goodies and some unexpected surprises. Alongside these, the update also resets player ranks and adds a new game mode called Clash. Clash debuts with two maps: Temple of Anubis, a revamped version of an old favorite, and Hanaoka, which draws heavy inspiration from Hanamura.
The battle pass is loaded with Egyptian-themed skins, including enough Mythic Prisms to fully customize the new Mythic Anubis skin for Reaper. Illari, Baptise, and Doomfist also get legendary skins that fit this theme. However, there are three other legendary skins that seem out of place: a ship captain Sigma skin, a Wizard of Oz-themed Ashe skin complete with Tin Man Bob, and an Oni Ana skin. The battle pass is priced at $10, but there’s also a $40 bundle that includes 2,000 Overwatch Coins (worth about $20), 20 battle pass tiers, and two exclusive skins—Aset Echo and Heist D.Va.

At the start of the season, additional Oni skins like Oni Kiriko, Cyber Oni Hanzo, and Heist Soldier: 76 will be available in the shop either as a bundle or individually. Xbox Game Pass subscribers will have something to look forward to as well; on September 17th, they can claim a bundle featuring skins and Mythic Prisms.
