Overwatch 2 Unveils New Hero Hazard, Playable This Week

In an exciting reveal, Blizzard has announced a new character for Overwatch 2 named Hazard.

Hazard, also called Haz in the subtitles, is part of The Phreaks gang and stars in an animated trailer titled “Hazardous Tactics,” which features an audacious heist in Oasis. With a mysterious substance that gives him super strength, Hazard is decked out with visible spikes and wields a minigun as his right arm, all while speaking in a Scottish accent. Activision Blizzard plans to share more about Hazard and his powers soon, so keep an eye out for updates. The trailer adds a lot of intrigue and excitement, capturing our imaginations with its dynamic storytelling.

For those missing the old 6v6 matches from the original game, there’s good news! During Season 14, there will be tests to bring back this feature. One test will require a hero in each role, while another will stick to the classic 2-2-2 role setup, but with some changes to keep things fresh.
