Today, Blizzard revealed that Overwatch 2’s Winter Wonderland update is live, bringing chilly fun with it.
In the Arcade, players can dive into three frosty battles, including Mei’s Snowball Offensive, where snowballs are everywhere during 5v5 elimination and free-for-all matches. In Mei’s Yeti Hunt, five players team up to trap the Yeti, who is actually Winston wearing his Yeti outfit.
Then there’s Freeze Flash Elimination, a game of freeze tag where frozen friends can be rescued by teammates.
King’s Row is hosting the new 6v6 mode in a role queue style, with a 2-2-2 setup: two tanks, two damage, and two support heroes per team. This will be around until January 6.
There’s also a bunch of festive skins up for grabs! Playing three, six, and nine matches can earn you the Merry Marionette Echo Legendary, Cassidy’s legendary, and Widowmaker’s legendary skins, one after the other.
Some other games like Stellar Blade and Astro Bot have also dressed up for the holidays this month.
