Pac Man Reboot Shadow Labyrinth Special Edition Packed With Collectibles

-

For Pac-Man’s 45th birthday next year, Bandai Namco is shaking things up with a new game called Shadow Labyrinth, unveiled at The Game Awards.

Shadow Labyrinth takes a big leap from the cheerful arcade vibe of Pac-Man to something much more mysterious and dark, echoing the styles of games like Hollow Knight and Ori and the Blind Forest. This exciting game will be available in 2025 for PC, Switch, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, and you can already preorder it on Amazon and Best Buy for Switch and PS5. There’s a special Secret Edition packed with lots of extras, too.

Perks for Preordering Shadow Labyrinth

If you order from Best Buy, you’ll get a digital bonus called “Original Arcade Sound FX.” It’s not clear if this is only at Best Buy or if other stores will have it later. So, if you want that bonus, make sure to double-check the details at the store you choose.

Fans think preorders are a fun way to get extra goodies.

The basic version of Shadow Labyrinth costs $30, which is pretty affordable. It includes the main game and any preorder goodies. You can grab physical copies at Amazon and Best Buy, but digital orders aren’t available yet. Still, you can add it to your wishlist on Steam and the PlayStation Store.

Spending $60 instead of $30 gets you the Secret Edition, which includes some neat collectibles along with the game. You’ll find things like a digital art book, soundtrack, enamel pins, a big map poster, a cool blacklight keychain, and glow-in-the-dark stickers among other items. If you’re celebrating Pac-Man’s big anniversary, this edition with all its bonuses could be a fun pick.
