It’s almost time to bid farewell to Chapter 5 and step into Fortnite Remix season.
This new adventure kicks off on Friday, Nov. 1, at 6:30 PM ET/3:30 PM PT with a live event. Remix season, much like last year’s OG season, will whisk us away to an older version of the island for a month before Chapter 6 emerges in December. The event, called Remix Prelude, will unfold during battle royale and zero build matches at the ancient Greek movie theater, Restored Reels, smack in the island’s heart. While the exact happenings are shrouded in mystery, Epic has ensured that Restored Reels will be a “protected area” during the event, so no one can ruin your fun by eliminating you, and even the storm won’t harm you if it rolls in before the event wraps up.
Shortly before the event, Restored Reels will become a protected area where eliminations will not be possible!

Rumors and leaks have given us some clues about what’s coming in the new season. For months now, we’ve heard whispers that Snoop Dogg will headline the Fortnite Festival, so it wouldn’t be shocking to see him perform a couple of tracks, similar to Eminem’s appearance at last year’s Chapter 5 event.
Sometimes, fans just have to wait and see what surprises await.
Aside from Snoop’s anticipated cameo, the event might reveal more about the Remix season, possibly showcasing the much-talked-about low-rider vehicle mechanics or offering a sneak peek at the new Remix battle pass skins. Epic has dubbed this event as the first in a trilogy—Remix season being the middle act, with a concluding event set for November 30.
If you’re out of the loop, Remix season will rewind us to the early days of Chapter 2, especially the first three seasons, which saw the debut of beloved characters like Midas, Meowscles, and Skye.
