Path of Exile 2’s early-access launch was so big that Grinding Gear Games is having a hard time keeping up with all the players’ support requests.
The game’s release on December 6 attracted a huge crowd, with over a million early-access keys sold for PC and consoles, and at its peak, more than 570,000 people were playing on Steam. It quickly became a top favorite among gamers.

However, the sudden surge in players has been tough on Grinding Gear Games’ support team. They shared in a forum post that they’re swamped with support tickets, which are taking much longer to handle. Normally, they respond within hours, but now that’s not possible.
The support system got so overloaded that emails weren’t being processed right. But don’t worry! They’re hiring more people to help catch up on the backlog quickly, and they’ve made some tech improvements to handle emails better. They’re asking folks to avoid sending extra requests because it just slows things down more.
We all know waiting can be super frustrating, but the team promises to get back to everyone as soon as they can.
On the bright side, they’re also tweaking Path of Exile 2 to make it more fun. They’ve made it so monsters won’t block players as much, and there’s a new teleport feature to jump between saved spots on the map, so you don’t have to retrace your steps if you die. Plus, the loot from enemies is going to be better, which means more exciting drops!
