Today at 5 PM PT / 8 PM ET, Grinding Gear Games is letting people grab a standalone PC version of Path of Exile 2 in advance from their site.
Downloading the game client is possible from the official site or via torrent, but logging in is a no-go until early access kicks off on December 6 at 11 AM PT / 2 PM ET. Xbox users can already pre-download, and PS5 folks just need to snag a Founder’s Pack to do the same, with availability set for a day before early access starts.
With Path of Exile 2 launching into Early Access soon, we’ve had a lot of players asking for pre-download to ensure they can play on launch. To accommodate this, we’ll be making the standalone PC client available for download at 5pm on Dec 5th (PST).

We’re so excited that the game is finally arriving this month! Path of Exile 2 had several delays, the last being a hiccup with servers at October’s end. But it’s almost here, ready to offer full cross-play and cross-progression, meaning your game progress is safe across all platforms.
Think of Path of Exile 2 like Diablo but in a different world. Early access will be $30 starting December 6 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
