In Path of Exile 2, to boost your skills, you can attach Support Gems to Skill Gems, though initially, you’ll only have space for a couple of these.
To fit in more Support Gems, the trick is using something called a Jeweler’s Orb. This magic orb adds an extra socket to your Skill Gem, bumping it from two slots to three.
Now, here’s the catch: once you use a Jeweler’s Orb, it’s gone for good, and finding more isn’t easy. These orbs are pretty rare in the game, so you’ll need to keep hunting for them.
You might wonder why you’ve never seen a Jeweler’s Orb. Well, they start appearing in Act 3, and even then, they’re not common. If you want a better shot at finding one, push through to the Cruel difficulty level.
Sometimes, we get lucky and find things when we least expect it.
In this adventure, these orbs might pop up from defeating tough bosses or opening treasure chests. Right now, you can only find the “Lesser” kind, which adds just one socket. But, in future updates, there might be other types that give you even more sockets. For now, if you find a Lesser Jeweler’s Orb, consider yourself fortunate!
