To find The Hooded One, you must complete two long quests from Act 1: The Mysterious Shade and Sorrow Among Stones. Since they are essential quests, you won’t miss them. It’s a good idea to focus on these before side quests to unlock respeccing quickly.
After you deliver Count Lachlann’s Ring to Una, The Hooded One will appear as an NPC. Talk to them, and you’ll see the Refund Passives option. This allows you to reset any passive skills you’ve unlocked, reclaiming the points you spent.
In the original Path of Exile, changing skills required Orbs of Regret, which were hard to find. Now, in Path of Exile 2, you use gold instead. This change makes things simpler because gold is used for many things like buying gear.
