Pathologic 3 Announced for Console & PC Release in 2025

Ice-Pick Lodge, a Russian game studio, has shared exciting news about the Pathologic series, announcing

, following 2019’s Pathologic 2.

Fans who supported Pathologic 2 on Kickstarter in 2014 will be thrilled to know they get Pathologic 3 for free. A trailer and a link to the Steam page have been unveiled, although the exact release date remains a mystery. However, we do know it’s set for 2025 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. This time, players will see the world through Danil Dankovsky’s eyes, known as “The Bachelor,” revisiting the same events from Pathologic 2.

In a little Russian town from the early 1900s, the story unfolds with three main characters: Artemy Burakh, the healer; Danil Dankovsky, the city doctor; and Clara, the mysterious girl with life-changing powers. While Clara’s side of the story isn’t out yet, the announcement hints that it might be on the way soon.

The original Pathologic, which debuted in 2005, was a hit in Russia and gained a cult following globally. Later, a remastered version improved graphics and translation, allowing players to dive deep into each character’s quest to cure a mysterious disease threatening the town. The protagonists not only battle the illness but must also navigate a world of deceitful characters, lawlessness, and the looming threat of military invasion.
