Sony might have accidentally revealed the PS5 Pro before its official announcement.
There was an unlisted video on PlayStation’s YouTube channel titled “PS5 Pro,” which was later renamed to “PlayStation 5 Technical Presentation – September 10.” This presentation, announced today, will stream on YouTube at 8 AM PT / 11 AM ET, and it’s expected to last around nine minutes. The unlisted video showed the PS5 logo, the phrase “the journey continues,” and some dates and times, hinting at a PS5 Pro reveal.
Speculation about the PS5 Pro has been growing for weeks. Dealabs leaked a possible design in August, and Sony hinted at an upgrade in a PlayStation 30th Anniversary image earlier this month. The “Pro” name comes from the PS4 Pro from the last generation.
Fans are really curious about this new console.
We still don’t know the price or exact specs of the PS5 Pro. In March, some leaks and a Digital Foundry report suggested it would have a better GPU and improved ray tracing. An analyst also guessed the Pro model might cost $650, and the regular PS5 won’t get cheaper.
