World of Warcraft fans are buzzing because Blizzard is releasing a super rare mount for its 20th birthday, but it’s also the priciest one yet at a whopping $90.
This new mount, the Trader’s Gilded Brutosaur, isn’t just shiny; it has cool features that let you check your mail and auctions while you’re out and about. The special gold harness is designed to celebrate WoW’s big anniversary, with gems symbolizing each expansion of the game.
This is only the second time WoW has released a Brutosaur mount. The first was the Mighty Caravan Brutosaur from Battle for Azeroth, which also got famous for being super expensive. But back then, you could buy it with in-game gold—though you’d need a jaw-dropping 5 million of it.
For those who don’t have that kind of gold, there’s an option to buy WoW Tokens. These Tokens can be exchanged for Battle.net credit. But, the Tokens sold out fast this week because players were eager to get the Gilded Brutosaur. One Token equals $15 in credit, so to afford this mount, you’ll need six of them.
Even though the price is high, it’s looking like the Gilded Brutosaur might cost less gold than the first one, with people thinking they will pay around 2.5 million gold when more Tokens are available.

This special mount is part of the 20th-anniversary fun, but it won’t be around forever. According to the store page, you can only get it until January 6, 2025.
The celebration also promises the return of some of WoW’s most famous armor, and maybe even Game Fuel, but who knows what surprises might pop up!
