Sega Seeks Yakuza Fans’ Input on Keanu Reeves, The Rock in Future Games

-

Sega is curious about which celebrities fans want to see in upcoming Yakuza/Like a Dragon games.

A Reddit user, JohnConquest, shared an email from Sega asking fans about their previous gaming experiences with titles like Crazy Taxi and Persona. The email also inquired about the impact of celebrity appearances on purchasing decisions. It concluded by asking fans to rate their interest in various Western celebrities appearing in the games.

Here’s the list of celebs mentioned: Aidan Gallagher, Jack Black, Hiroyuki Sanada, Lionel Messi, Xavier Woods, Hank Azaria, Danny Trejo, Minoru Iwasaki, Rami Malek, Simone Biles, Dr. Dre, Frank Montana, Robert Pattinson, Lady Gaga, Matthew Mercer, Shohei Ohtani, Keanu Reeves, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, Vin Diesel, LeBron James, David Hayter, Seth Rogen, Kit Harington, Mark Hamill, Eminem, Ozzy Osbourne and Billie Eilish.

Fans really enjoy it when the developers include funny parodies of famous people in the series.

Danny Trejo already appeared in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth as Dwight Mendez. The next Ryu Ga Gotoku game will be revealed at the Tokyo Game Show this year. No one knows if it will be from an existing series or something completely new yet. However, the studio promises it will be a “surprise.”

Fans love these kinds of surprises!
