Silent Hill 2 has some spooky spots, and Toluca Prison is one of the creepiest.
Imagine being stuck in a bug-filled room with a locked door. To get out, you need to enter the right code on a keypad, but finding this code isn’t easy. Bugs keep crawling around, and you have to smash them so they don’t bite you. This whole situation can make you feel really stressed as you search for clues. If you’ve been stuck like we were, we’re here to guide you.
Want to crack the bug-room puzzle? We’ve got the solution right here, but if you enjoy solving it yourself, stop reading now!
What’s the Code for the Bug Room in Toluca Prison?
In other parts of the game, like the apartment 206 safe code, clues might be on the walls, leading you to search with your flashlight. Here, however, the walls offer nothing. But don’t worry, the hint you need is still around.
Once the bugs are gone, focus on the keypad. You need a three-digit code to open the door. Notice the blood on the keypad? That’s your hint. Instead of looking at the bloody keys, look at the ones that aren’t stained. Those clean keys are your clue.
When the lights flicker, only three keys—2, 3, and 9—remain unstained. Use them to find the code. Guess what? The combination of these numbers is limited. You only have six combinations to try out!
If you’re tired of guessing, here’s the secret: the code is 923. Punch it in and voilà, the door swings open, letting you explore more of Brookhaven.
