Sony’s Until Dawn Remake Suggests Sequel

-

Almost a decade has passed since Sony and Supermassive Games released the spooky adventure of Until Dawn, capturing the imagination of many.

Heads up: spoilers for Until Dawn and its new version lie ahead. Over at Eurogamer, they spilled the beans on two fresh scenes after the credits roll. In one scene, we find Josh, played by Rami Malek, who originally faced a grim fate of either dying or turning into a Wendigo. Now, there’s a twist—he survives, though badly hurt, and hears Dr. Hill’s voice suggesting he might still have a chance at redemption.

In another scene, we catch up with Sam, played by Hayden Panettiere, years later. She’s struggling with PTSD, possibly using medicine to cope. By her bed lies a book about mythical creatures, hinting that she’s been digging into Wendigo lore. She wakes up from a dream only to find a bleeding wound on her arm and hears a spooky voice calling her name.

Fans wonder if these changes mean a sequel could be on the horizon. It’s exciting to think about where the story might lead next.

Sony’s keeping quiet about any new games in the Until Dawn saga, but these hints might mean they’re cooking up something interesting for the future. And guess what? You can dive back into this chilling tale when the remake drops on PlayStation 5 and PC on October 4.
