Star Wars Outlaws Livestream Week Before Release

-

Star Wars Outlaws gameplay has been shown on Kick a whole week before its official release date of August 30.

Using the username “thisisnotanaccount,” a streamer has been turning their stream on and off for the past day, as noted by Reddit users. Up until now, “thisisnotanaccount” hasn’t been banned, and viewers have mentioned that the gameplay includes major story spoilers. Clips from this stream are also popping up on TikTok.

Twitch and YouTube are known for quickly banning accounts or taking swift actions in situations like this. There’s even a Twitter/X account that updates users about banned Twitch accounts with timestamps. However, Kick’s community guidelines say they will “terminate accounts in cases of repeated violations” and “ban individuals and accounts for more severe violations.” It looks like Kick doesn’t see this leak as a severe violation since the account is still active, with over 20 followers.

Fans sometimes feel like they are caught in the middle of these leaks.

This isn’t the first time Star Wars Outlaws has been leaked. A few months back, a nearly 15-minute video was uploaded to YouTube but was quickly taken down by Ubisoft. That video had very few story spoilers according to viewers.
