At Gamescom Opening Night Live, Bethesda unveiled the Rev-8, a space vehicle for planet exploration, and announced the release date for Starfield’s upcoming DLC, Shattered Space.
Instead of just showing off its exploration features, Bethesda’s trailer had a twist. It felt like a racing game trailer, similar to Forza. The Rev-8 was seen zooming through planets and pulling off amazing drifts. Not only can it transport players, but it also seems ready for battle. Everyone will be able to try out the Rev-8 for free starting tonight when it goes live.

Bethesda also shared that the Shattered Space DLC will launch on September 30 this year. The DLC promises a cosmic horror theme and will delve deeper into House Va’Ruun, one of the game’s main factions. Interestingly, Bethesda hinted at the Rev-8 earlier this year in a video about quality-of-life improvements.
