In 2008, when Liam Neeson turned into an action hero in Taken, he showed us how far a dad might go to save his kidnapped daughter.
In the new game, Tackle for Loss, the main character has a similar mission, but he’s got his own cool tricks up his sleeve to rescue his daughter from the baddies who took her.
Another interesting thing about this game is that it touches on something serious called CTE, a brain problem some football players get from getting hit too much. The hero knows he has this issue, and it makes him super angry and dangerous. It’s sad too because he can’t even remember his daughter’s name, but he knows he loves her and won’t stop until she’s safe.
The game’s look is kind of old-school, like Hotline Miami, and you can plan your moves and get better at fighting as you play. As you go through the game, you find out why the daughter was taken and discover a big mystery with bad guys involved.
Daniel Wichterich, who’s from Germany, made this game all by himself for his company, Indifferent Penguin. You can’t play it yet, but you can add it to your wishlist on Steam.
We think it’s really cool when one person can make an entire game!
