Taiko No Tatsujin Rhythm Festival Drum Controller Coming to PS5 & Xbox This November

-

Imagine this: using music controllers can make any game way more fun!

Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival, a super fun drum rhythm game, came out on Switch in 2022 but is now heading to Xbox Series X|S, PC, and PS5 on November 7 for $50. If you want extra songs, the Setlist Edition is $80. This game is a burst of colors and energy where you play a taiko drum to all kinds of music like anime songs, video game tracks, pop hits, and more. Plus, it looks like a cute anime show! Oh, and Banpresto’s releasing a huge 27.6-inch Don Wada Jumbo Plush in January for $27.

The real excitement comes with the new official PlayStation and Xbox Taiko Drum Controllers from Hori. These will be out with the game and cost $100. They look super cool and come with two drumsticks designed just for Taiko no Tatsujin. Based on the popular arcade game, this controller has a pressure-sensitive pad that knows exactly where you hit it! You can also use the drum to pick songs or scroll through menus.

Will someone try to beat Elden Ring using this drum controller? Most likely.

If you’re eager to start drumming right away, you can grab the Nintendo Switch drum controller and a physical copy of Rhythm Festival for $95 total on Amazon.

The details on the drum stand and drumsticks are really neat; they’ve got Taiko characters all over them making it look both cute and fancy.

You can choose between two versions of these controllers: one for Xbox or one that works with both PC and PS5. Bandai Namco officially licenses them along with PlayStation/Xbox.

Fans love how these controllers bring an extra layer of fun to gaming.

The Nintendo Switch version of this drum controller came out last year. While it doesn’t have the detailed artwork on the stand like the new ones do, it still looks pretty similar in design. Plus you can save about $50 if you go for this version because the physical version is on sale for $27, while digital costs $50. The drum controller lists at $70.
