The Game Awards Promises Stunning Moments

-

Tomorrow night is the big event for The Game Awards, and there are whispers of jaw-dropping surprises in store.

During a chat on Kinda Funny Games Daily, Jason Schreier hinted at some major game reveals that will leave everyone stunned. He said, “There are at least two things that will make you guys react [and] say ‘holy sh*it, I can’t believe it’s here,'” which makes us all super curious (VGC).

Starting at 4:30 PM PT / 7:30 PM ET on December 12, the show promises to kick off with a bang. Randy Pitchford from Gearbox Software has already spilled the beans about a Borderlands 4 trailer that will showcase gameplay and a cool CG animation.

For now, most details are being kept secret, but expect the usual dose of world premieres, new sneak peeks, and music from The Game Awards Orchestra. Schreier also teased that some games won’t be hitting shelves until 2026, so patience is key!

We love it when new games are announced; it’s like opening presents on your birthday.

For those eager to catch every second, GameSpot and The Game Awards have teamed up to offer a special pre-show packed with exclusive content. This will run for two hours, kicking off at 2:30 PM PT / 5:30 PM ET.
