At The Game Awards 2024, Naughty Dog announced that The Last of Us Part II is coming to PC on April 3, 2025.
If you want to play it on your computer, you can find it on Steam and the Epic Games Store, but you’ll need a PSN account linked. The PC version will have all the cool stuff from the PlayStation 5 version, like the No Return survival mode, guitar free play, and developer commentary on the Lost Levels. Still, we don’t know what kind of PC you’ll need to run it yet.
Naughty Dog’s partners, Nixxes and Iron Galaxy, are really putting in the effort to make sure PC players have a great experience from the start. As they said on the PlayStation Blog, “We’ll be delving further into the PC-specific features and specs as we get closer to launch.”

The new version of the game is similar to The Last of Us Part I with added accessibility features, like audio descriptions and speech-to-vibrations. This means the words spoken in the game can be felt through the PS5 DualSense controller. Also, the haptic feedback and adaptive triggers on the controller are now better.
We love when games become more accessible to everyone.
For those with a PS5, the remastered game is already available, and it’s even more awesome on the PS5 Pro console. Meanwhile, fans of the TV show can look forward to the second season arriving around the middle of 2025.
However, some people are upset that you have to link a PSN account to play PlayStation’s first-party games on PC, like Ghost of War Ragnarok and Until Dawn remake. This began with Helldivers 2 but got reversed by Sony.
