The Replacer Becomes Playable Operator in Black Ops 6

-

Activision is bringing Peter Stormare’s The Replacer into Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 as a playable character with the new Season 1 update.

In this Replacer tracer pack, gamers get two different looks for The Replacer, one regular and one extra special for those who grab the BlackCell bundle. This bundle packs in weapon blueprints for guns like Quick Wit and Ramifications, plus cool stuff like the “Aura +5000” animated calling card, a lively “Many Hats” emblem, the “Replacement Killer” finishing move, and a charm for your vehicle’s weapon.

But wait! If you want the BlackCell version of The Replacer, make sure to buy the BlackCell bundle first, or it won’t work. Activision is keeping mum about the prices for these new bundles in Season 01.

The Replacer is voiced by Stormare himself for this operator bundle.

Over two dozen Replacer ads have been made for Black Ops 6, where Stormare hilariously takes over jobs from all sorts of folks like TV hosts, the Pope, Kyler Murray from the NFL, boxer Canelo Alvarez, Joe Rogan, and even political analysts. Catch all these fun clips on the Call of Duty YouTube page.

The Replacer popped up first in 2013 and has been a hit in Black Ops campaigns ever since. The Black Ops 6 commercials starring The Replacer started airing during NFL games last September.

The Replacer even took over a character called Graves in Call of Duty: Warzone, making fans wonder if he’d be in the game for real, and now he is! Activision says the Replacer bundle will come out “shortly” after Season 01 kicks off on November 14.

Besides the Replacer bundle, players can look forward to fresh maps, modes, and weapons, along with a new Warzone map called Area 99. To learn more about what’s coming in Season 01, check out Activision’s detailed blog post.
