By the end of August, three more games will be leaving Xbox Game Pass.
Before they disappear, you might want to try NBA 2K24, Atomic Heart, and Guilty Gear Strive. These games are available for a 20% discount until they’re gone. NBA 2K24 will be replaced by the new 2K25, which comes out on September 6, but it won’t be part of Game Pass.
Atomic Heart is a first-person shooter set in the Soviet Union and has a lot of similarities with BioShock Infinite. According to GameSpot’s review of Atomic Heart, “Atomic Heart lacks follow-through on its most interesting narrative concepts and plays it safe with its first-person shooter gameplay.”
Guilty Gear Strive has been a hit since its release in 2021 and continues to have a strong fighting game community. Lucy from Cyberpunk Edgerunners will join as a guest character in 2025. GameSpot’s review of Guilty Gear Strive says, “Guilty Gear Strive continues the series’ legacy of complex and rewarding technical fighters, enhanced with a new look, characters, and ideas that bring its bold, complex gameplay to new heights.”
Fans love seeing new characters in their favorite games.
It’s always exciting to watch how these games evolve with updates and new additions.
