Titans Receive Major Boost in Destiny 2 Revenant Update

-

Titans in Destiny 2 are about to get some cool new upgrades.

Bungie shared the exciting news in their weekly This Week in Destiny blog, explaining the changes coming in October with the Revenant update. The main goal is to make Titans feel more like the strong fighters they’re meant to be, smashing through enemies.

Instead of just making Titans hit harder, Bungie is tweaking their abilities in other smart ways. The Titan barricade, for example, will now make enemies attack it, pulling their attention away from your friends.

Titan barricades are energy walls that can be big shields or smaller covers you can shoot over. Right now, enemies might still target players hiding behind them, but soon they’ll focus on the barricade itself until it’s gone. This change means Titans can better protect their team by drawing enemy fire.

These barricades will also become tougher, taking half the damage from regular enemies and giving better protection from explosions, jumping from 20% to 60%. Plus, the Sentinel Shield Super and Unbreakable aspect will get stronger, adding more ways for Titans to defend themselves and their team.

Fans love when characters get better at what they do best.

Another cool tweak is making it easier for Titan abilities to break Stasis crystals, which freeze enemies nearby. This boosts their usefulness without just increasing their attack power. But don’t worry, Titans’ punches will get stronger too, with a 5% increase against players and 20% against PvE enemies.

The blog also mentions changes to roaming Supers like the Hunter’s Golden Gun and Warlock’s Chaos Reach. These will get better damage reduction in PvE and some extra boosts to make them more effective.
