Ubisoft Addresses Animus Hub Rumors for Assassin’s Creed Infinity

-

Ubisoft has reacted to a massive Assassin’s Creed leak that spilled the beans about Animus Hub, previously known as the Infinity project.

In a Reddit post, Ubisoft addressed “inaccurate rumors” flying around the internet, so they decided to set the record straight. They assured everyone that all rewards in Animus Hub are “entirely free,” with no paid subscriptions or battle passes to worry about. Plus, they plan to regularly add “content and missions” at no extra charge.

As the game gets closer to launch, more juicy details will be shared, Ubisoft promised. Interestingly, this Reddit post marked the first official mention of the Animus Hub’s real name, even though a developer had let it slip during an interview back in June.

The leaked info also showed that players can unlock cool stuff like futuristic weapon skins, mythological mounts, and other resources for their adventures. Plus, one of the images revealed co-protagonist Yasuke chilling inside the Animus Hub.

Sometimes, fans just want the game to be out already, don’t they?

The launch of Assassin’s Creed Shadows, initially set for October, got postponed to February 14, 2025, allowing developers more time to perfect the game. Meanwhile, Marc-Alexis Coté, the big boss at Assassin’s Creed, shared thoughts on the modern-day elements of the series and how Ubisoft plans to steer the storylines in a fresh direction.
