Valve’s 2024 Steam Replay is out now, offering a look back at your gaming year.
The Steam Replay tool lets you see all sorts of stats about your gaming from January 1 to December 14, but it skips any offline playtime or times you weren’t connected to the internet. It shows the number of games you’ve enjoyed, achievements you’ve unlocked, and even your longest gaming streak in days. You can find out which game genres you liked most, the games that ate up most of your hours, and how you split your time between Windows PC and Steam Deck.
There’s a monthly timeline, too, so you can see what you played each month and compare yourself to other Steam users. Did you know the typical gamer unlocked 13 achievements and played 4 games this year?
Just like Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo have their own year-in-review tools for 2024. Plus, you can still peek at your Steam Replays from 2023 and 2022 if you’re feeling nostalgic.
Fans love seeing their gaming stats—it feels like a fun report card for grown-ups!
Meanwhile, Valve is busy with new projects. They’re crafting a 6v6 MOBA hero shooter called Deadlock, which they spilled the beans on earlier this year.
Rumors swirl about Half-Life 3, but Valve hasn’t confirmed anything yet. As for a “Steam Deck 2,” don’t hold your breath; Valve says tech isn’t quite there yet for a performance boost without using more power.
