Today, players with the Gold or Ultra edition of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 can start playing, while those with the standard version have to wait until next week.
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 Cross-Play
According to a community update from Focus Entertainment, cross-play is fully supported right from the start. Players on PC and consoles can team up for campaign or PvE missions, but PvP has some restrictions to keep it fair. PC players will only compete with other PC players, and console players will do the same with their peers. If someone prefers to play only with others on the same platform, they can switch off cross-play anytime.
Sometimes, we just want to play with our friends, no matter what device they’re on.
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 Cross-Save
The community update also explains that cross-save is possible through Prism Ray Online Services (PROS). This feature lets players link their game saves to any platform. So, if they start playing on a PC and later switch to a console, they won’t lose their progress. Pretty neat, huh?
Having these options makes gaming more flexible and fun!
