Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 Patch Adds New Features

-

Focus Entertainment recently rolled out a patch for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, introducing ultrawide support for PCs and private lobbies for PvE in Operation mode.

The update, detailed on the Space Marine 2 community page, includes the new Hub Sparring Arena. This stage is located on the Battle Barge for Operations and Eternal War modes, allowing players to fight friends before starting a mission. Private lobbies now let you play with bots or a friend instead of random players. Other tweaks involve resetting custom color presets and adjusting Veteran difficulty, with reduced health and less aggressive enemies during campaigns.

Fans, we love these kinds of updates!

Space Marine 2 has already set new records for the Warhammer franchise, sparking concerns about the pressure on Saber Interactive. But CEO Tim Willits is confident, saying, “Through the success lens that we have, we will just make far better products in the future.” This could hint at future story DLC or even a third installment in the series.

The patch also offers more customization for your grimdark soldiers, including the ability to customize the bottom and top halves of legs separately. They are exploring other options, like face changes, more decals, colors, and AI squadmate customization.
