Those who bought the Gold or Ultra editions of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 can now dive into the game early.
Publisher Focus Entertainment has a message for these early players: “share the glory, not the story.”
, they posted a graphic reminding everyone to be considerate of others who won’t play the game until next week. So, early access starts today, but the full release is set for September 9. “No spoilers! Every space marine out there deserves the thrill of discovering the game’s story on their own,” the image says.
The storyline seems pretty gripping. According to GameSpot’s review, “the sense of scale is tremendous, both in terms of your enemy and the world around you.”
Space Marine 2 allows players to team up in its campaign mode, with cross-play and cross-save features. However, in PvP, PC and console players will be kept apart to keep things fair.
People, we love it when games don’t have microtransactions.
Don’t worry about microtransactions in Space Marine 2. Instead, developer Saber Interactive says, “any paid DLCs will be cosmetic only.”
