Warzone Season 1 Quietly Removes Hated Weapon

-

Warzone’s new update for Season 1 is here, and it’s packed with surprises and changes.

The big news is Black Ops 6 is now part of Warzone, bringing along lots of cool stuff like omnimovement, a huge list of weapons, and even a Prestige system from the old days. But guess what? One weapon that really annoyed a lot of players has disappeared quietly.

People used to dislike the riot shield a lot because it was super hard to beat in battles. But now, players have noticed it’s not in Warzone anymore.

While Black Ops 6 doesn’t have the riot shield, Modern Warfare 2 and 3 weapons were supposed to be included in Warzone. You can check out all sorts of guns and melee weapons from those games, but the riot shield from Modern Warfare 2 is nowhere to be found.

The patch notes for Season 1 don’t mention why the riot shield is missing. This means we don’t know if they meant to take it out or just forgot to add it with Black Ops 6.

Some players might be happy it’s gone, but we think others might miss using it for their sneaky strategies.

The new season also brings the Area 99 Resurgence map, which sounds like an adventure, and for the first time, there’s a special Mastery camo to earn. Plus, the Season 1 battle pass offers over 100 items, including cool weapons like the Krig C assault rifle and Saug submachine gun. Sounds like fun!
