On Wednesday, August 28, Call of Duty Next will take place. While the event isn’t open to the public, anyone can watch it live on Twitch or YouTube. Check out the embed below to watch directly.

The event kicks off at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET. The duration is still a mystery, but last year’s show was over four hours long. Here are the start times for various regions:

  • 9 AM PT
  • 12 PM ET
  • 5 PM BST
  • 1 AM JST (August 29)
  • 2 AM AEST (August 29)

What to expect at Call of Duty Next

This event will dive deep into Black Ops 6’s multiplayer mode and reveal details about the Omnimovement system. We’ll also learn more about new maps, modes, and general gameplay mechanics. The PC system requirements for Black Ops 6 have already been shared and aren’t too demanding.

The main goal is to build excitement for the Black Ops 6 multiplayer beta starting on August 30. Expect previews of some beta maps during the event.

Apart from multiplayer, there will be a closer look at Liberty Falls, one of two new Zombies maps at launch. Also, we’ll get details about Area 99, a new map for Warzone.

Additionally, there will be updates on “Black Ops 6 integrations and more announcements,” though specifics are under wraps. Activision’s blog post even has a redacted section hinting at some secret info… Can’t wait to find out!

There’s speculation that early access to Black Ops 6’s campaign or Zombies mode might be announced. Previous games allowed early campaign access with preorders, but nothing official has been revealed yet for Black Ops 6.

To encourage viewers, Activision offers in-game rewards for watching at least 30 minutes of Call of Duty: Next. The longer you watch, the more you earn! Here are the rewards available when Black Ops 6 launches in October:

  • 30 minutes: “Mine” Emblem
  • 60 minutes: “Earning Stripes” Calling Card
  • 90 minutes: “Tri Harder” Charm
  • 120 minutes: “The Redactor” Weapon Blueprint

Earning these rewards is easy! Just sign into your Activision account and link it with your preferred platform. Then connect your YouTube or Twitch account to your Activision account and start watching.
