If you haven’t played Worms Armageddon, it’s a 2D strategy game where players take turns causing chaos with missiles, grenades, and more to defeat each other on destructible maps.
You can create tunnels or trap foes in holes, adding a strategic twist to the fun. Although the game is easy to pick up, there’s plenty of depth for competitive play.
The game is entertaining, and back in 2000, our review gave it a 7.9 out of 10 for its funny weapons and great multiplayer.
Fans of classic games, rejoice!
Worms Armageddon isn’t the only retro game making a comeback. Marvel Vs. Capcom Fighting Collection is coming out soon, with preorders still open.
The HD remakes of Suikoden I and II will also be released next year, and preordering the Day One edition gives you two bonus items to help your party at the start.
Yu-Gi-Oh: Early Days Collection brings several Game Boy and Game Boy Advance Yu-Gi-Oh games to the Switch, and preordering the physical version includes two rare trading cards.
