Xur Location & Exotic Items Guide for Destiny 2 (October 11-14)

Destiny 2 players, listen up because Xur has arrived just in time for Season of the Revenant, and he’s brought his shop full of goodies.

This time around, Xur’s got some exciting things in store: Exotic weapon catalysts for Black Talon and The Wardcliff Coil. Hunters can snag the Wormhusk Crown, Titans might fancy the Helm of Saint-14, and Warlocks can grab Felwinter’s Helm. If you’re hunting for Exotic weapons, he’s selling Hawkmoon, Crimson, Coldheart, and Black Talon.

Starting next week, Xur is introducing a cool new item, the Xurfboard, an Exotic skimmer. If you missed out during the Guardian Games, now’s your chance, but it’ll cost a hefty 97 Strange Coins. Also, don’t forget to check out the new dungeon, Vesper’s Host, which kicks off today. Oh, and if you want the Icebreaker Exotic sniper rifle, here’s your chance to add it to your collection.

Xur’s Spot

Head to the Tower and turn right past Banshee-44, take the stairs down, follow the corridor, and when you reach the Bazaar, make a right into the alleyway. In the heat of battle, Wormhusk Crown gives a boost to your health and shield when you dodge, thanks to its Burning Souls perk. While it’s helpful, the stats are pretty uneven, with most points in intellect and mobility but leaving some defense gaps.

Helm of Saint-14 (Exotic Titan helmet)

If you’re a Titan who likes protection and power, Helm of Saint-14 is your friend. With the Ward of Dawn Super, it blinds enemies and boosts allies’ weapon damage. Using Sentinel Shield will blind nearby foes too. The stats favor your Super with great resilience and intellect, though strength and discipline need some boosting.

Felwinter’s Helm (Exotic Warlock helmet)

When you land a powered melee final blow, Felwinter’s Helm creates a burst of energy that weakens enemies. Finishers and final blows on strong foes make the effect even bigger. But watch out, because the stats aren’t great with low strength and recovery. However, with the right setup, it’s a powerful choice, just maybe not this week’s version.

Xur’s business model in The Final Shape is changing. Each week, two Exotic weapon catalysts from older expansions are available, but those linked to quests or missions are not included. Plus, he offers three random Exotic weapons and Hawkmoon, along with Legendary armor and weapons. Spend more, and you’ll climb his reputation ladder, with rewards like an Exotic Cipher after rank resets.

There’s also a loyalty perk: spend 47 Strange Coins, and you get a Strange Favor buff, which lasts for 11 days and can be stacked up to three times, giving extra Strange Coins from certain activities. Xur shows up every weekend in Destiny 2, starting Friday at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET.
