Zenless Zone Zero fans have something exciting coming their way soon.
The upcoming update, version 1.4, is set to roll out on December 18, as shared in a PlayStation Blog post. This update promises not just gameplay improvements and special features for PS5 Pro users but also introduces two brand-new characters. Shi from HoYoverse mentioned that one of these characters, Hoshimi Miyabi, is a young but skilled Void Hunter who leads Section 6 and fights with a frosty sword. Meanwhile, Asaba Harumasa, the other new character, is known for his electric powers and can switch between using a bow and a blade. Isn’t it thrilling when new heroes join the game?

This update, called “A Storm of Falling Stars,” also revamps the gameplay. Shi explained how the major update, Shadows Lost, will add intense battles in the Lost Void, complete with extra tools and weapons like Bangboo assist skills and Resonia. Players can expect agents such as Miyabi, Ellen, Yanagi, and Billy to show off their unique Gear. Plus, completing missions will reward players with a new A-level Brawlerboo, among other goodies.
While the update is confirmed for December 18, the exact time it will go live remains a mystery.
